
Nissin Shurui Co., Ltd. has employed traditional techniques since the middle of the 19th century to brew sake and shochu, and developed a diverse line of other alcoholic beverages including liqueur, fruit sakes and mirin. We are especially esteemed for our Sudachi-chu and Naruto Kintoki Satomusume Imo shochu products which have the unique natural bounty of the Awa area.
Nissin-shurui Co., Ltd. is located in Tokushima, Shikoku.
Shikoku consists of four prefectures (Tokushima, Kagawa, Ehime, Kochi). Tokushima is located in the eastern part of Shikoku.
Tokushima has a mild climate throughout the year, and there is an extensive flatland along the Yoshino River that flows from east to west and mountains run south to north.
Nissin-shurui Co., Ltd. has its head quarters on the north shore of the Yoshino River. The area is about 20km east of Tokushima

Tokushima Prefecture produces sake with a rich taste based on water from the Shikoku and Sanuki mountains.
The clean water of Yoshino River is rich in minerals and soft.
The temperature difference between day and night is large, and rice, water, climate, and human skills produced in the sunny and airy foothills of the mountain meet each other, and the sake of Nissin Liquor is born.
Tokushima Prefecture has a warm climate throughout the year and is rich in nature such as the plains along the Yoshino River.
Therefore, there are many agricultural products such as sudachi and yamamomo, yuzu, plum, sake rice (Awa Yamadanishiki), naruto kintoki (sweet potato), etc.
Our company carefully selects these ingredients, make our products unique with our special manufacturing methods, concentrate our effort on making products by taking advantage of blessing of local nature in Tokushima.

Our local sake “Hisago Taikou” is made at our Taikou sake brewery located in Yoshino River watershed in Awa region. This 19 time Japan Sake Award (Zenkoku Shinshu Kanpyokai)winner is popular in Tokushima prefecture as well as across the nation. And it won ‘honor prise’ in the Ginjo-shu and Kanzake category, by Shikoku Seishu Kanpyokai (the Shikoku Sake Awards) of 2019, in the Ginjo-shu category 2020, in the Kanzake category 2021.‘AWA GIN CLEAR BOTTLE’ won gold prize at the spilit of TWSC in 2022.
In overseas competitions,‘AWA GIN CLEAR BOTTLE’ won silver prize at the IWSC in 2022. JunmaiGinjo-shu‘Awa Tensui’ won W gold prize at The Milano Sake Challenge in 2022. Daiginjo-shu’Sakura Bijin Cherry barrel Genshu’ won silver prize at the Daiginjo-shu category of IWC in 2020. ’HisagoTaikou Ginjou-shu Genshu’ won the silver prize in the Ginjoshu category of IWC in 2021 .
